John Riihiluoma is a Partner and Local Team Leader of the Commercial Litigation Team and a member of the Insolvency and Restructuring Team within the Litigation Practice Group. John Riihiluoma was called to the English Bar in 1977 and to the Bermuda Bar in 1978. He joined the group in April 1997 as a Partner of the firm.
John's practice includes reinsurance disputes, directors and officers’ liability actions and other professional negligence claims. Certain of the directors and officers’ liability and professional negligence claims he has handled have arisen in the context of insurance company insolvencies.
John is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, and has acted as counsel in arbitrations and as an arbitrator
