Cameron Adderley

Cameron Adderley is a Partner, Telecommunications Technology and Intellectual Property Local Team Leader and a member of the Capital Markets Team. He practises in the area of company law and focuses on the needs of the firm's international telecommunications clients. He has worked extensively on international telecommunications projects utilising Bermuda special purpose vehicles and in particular the structuring of joint ventures, financing transactions, including syndicated bank lending, and private placements. Cameron has also advised in relation to Bermuda telecommunications regulations.

Cameron first joined the group as an associate in April 1997 and after working in-house as Senior Attorney for Global Crossing, he returned to Appleby in August 1998. He became a Partner in April 2001.

Cameron graduated from the University of Bristol with an LLB (Hons) degree in 1989 and attended the College of Law, Guildford. He undertook his training with the London firm of Solicitors, Simmons & Simmons, and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors, England and Wales, in November 1992 (now non-practising). He practised as a solicitor in Simmons & Simmons' London office from qualification until September 1995 and during this period was seconded to the Financial Law Panel. Cameron was called to the Bermuda Bar in September 1993.

Cameron is a member of the Bermuda International Business Association's Legislative Change Committee, the voluntary committee that considers legislative reform.
