MIRRORS: Training for youth professionals

Hamilton, Bermuda: Saturday, April 21, 2007 -
Friday the 20th of April 2007 marks the first completion of the Mirrors Training for Youth Professionals at the Elbow Beach Hotel.
The training was facilitated by Mr. Mark Charley of Uncommon Results Inc. which is based in Florida.
The training consisted of 3 days of intensive dialogue and personal reflection. There are two further training sessions to be held beginning Monday the 23rd of April 2007 with the last one occurring on the 15th of May.
The last two training sessions are already oversubscribed. Once the training for the Youth Professionals is completed we will begin to focus on the volunteer enrolment and training phase of the program.

The Minister of Social Rehabilitation, the Hon. Dale Butler, JP, MP, presented the participants with a certificate for attending and valuable contribution to the discussion in the training.
In his closing remarks to the participants the Minister stated, “The Government is very pleased with their interest and commitment to the training and we hope they continue to participate either as Youth Professionals or Volunteers within the Mirrors Programme.”
