Ministry of Works and Engineering interruption of services Friday July 6

Hamilton, Bermuda: Wednesday, July 04, 2007 - The Ministry of Works and Engineering is advising the public that all services provided by the Ministry will be interrupted on Friday, July 6 from 12 p.m. for the remainder of the day.

The service disruption will enable all members of the Ministry of Works and Engineering to attend a special Ministry event.

The service interruption will apply to all services provided by the Ministry including garbage collection, the Government Quarry, Water and Sewage, Engineering services, Architecture, Highways, Estates, Buildings, Land Title Registration, Surveys, Finance and Administration and the headquarters of the Ministry at the General Post Office in Hamilton.

Garbage collection will resume on Saturday, July 7, to complete Friday’s collection. Blue bag recyclable collections will not be affected.

All other services provided by the Ministry of Works and Engineering will resume as normal on Monday morning, July 9.

The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
