Major Stephen Caton assumes appointment as Public Relations Officer Bermdua Regiment

Bermuda Regiment Commanding Officer (CO) Lt Col William Whit has announced that Major Stephen Caton will take over from Major Wayne Smith as Public Relations officer for the Regiment.
As part of the annual postings and promotions process, the Majors Smith and Caton have exchanged their previous postings with Major Smith assuming the appointment of Special Projects Officer. Maj Smith is also currently Coordinator of Security Services for the Ministry of Public Safety.
Lt Col White commented: "I thank Major Smith for his commendable efforts on behalf of the Regiment and welcome Major Caton into that role. The Regiment enjoys wide community support and we are thankful to the press and electronic media for their continued assistance in keeping the public informed of the Regiment's local and overseas activities."
Maj Caton was delighted with his appointment, noting: "I am pleased to continue the good work of Major Smith and the Regiment's PR team and look forward to working with the media in keeping the public up to date about the Regiment and its valuable role in our community and beyond."
