Churches from across the island will come together at the National Stadium on Sunday for the second Annual Amalgamated Service of Bermuda Churches.
The service, entitled That We Would Be One, will feature Bishop John Francis from the UK.
The event is organised by Bermuda Faith-Based Tourism, headed by Andre Curtis.
Mr Curtis has been criticised in recent months for his handling of the lucrative contract, with questions being raised about the number of events that have been organised.
Critics claim Mr Curtis was awarded the contract as a thank you for his work running Premier and Tourism Minister Dr Ewart Brown’s constituency, Warwick South Central.
Mr Curtis said as many as 2,000 people were expected at Sunday’s service, which will take place between 3.30pm and 5.30pm.
Bishop Francis is the founder and senior pastor of London-based Ruach Ministries, which is one of the UK’s fastest growing churches, as well as a regular presenter of a TV gospel programme.
The inaugural Amalgamated Service last year attracted controversy over when a number of churches announced their opposition to outlawing discrimination on the ground of sexual orientation.
It was consequently boycotted by the Anglican and Roman Catholic churches.
