The Bermuda Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority will host a weekend of activities to celebrate the sisterhood’s 95th anniversary.
The weekend will have the theme “Nurturing the Vision through Dedication, Leadership and Commitment”.
The highlight will be the Founders Day Banquet on February 2 which will honour the 22 founders as well as four civic leaders who are also members of the sorority.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913 at Howard University, in Washington, D.C. and is the largest organization of professional women in the world with more than 200,000 members worldwide.
The Bermuda Alumnae Chapter was chartered on June 9, 1989.
