Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) has appointed Kerry Garrigan as Director of Human Resources.
Ms Garrigan, who has 30 years' experience in HR, will be responsible for staff recruitment, retention and development programmes, HR policies and labour relations.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer Venetta Symonds said: "I am very pleased to welcome Ms Garrigan to the Bermuda Hospitals Board. The Director of Humna Resources is a critical role for any organisation, but especially in a hospital where our ability to hire and retain both local and overseas professionals has a huge impact on our ability to care for the community."
Ms Garrigan, who is from the US, has a three-year contract and during that time will identify and train a Bermudian to take over the position.
Prior to joining BHB she was Vice President of Human Resources at North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
