The theft trial of Health Minister Nelson Bascome has been postponed.
The magistrates’ court trial was scheduled for April 2 but will now take place on April 23 due to witness unavailability.
Mr Bascome is charged with stealing is charged with stealing over $56,000 from the Bank of Bermuda, which was advanced to him as a business loan, and $20,000 from the Natural Business Company, of which he was a director. He denies both charges.
