A man is refusing to cooperate with police despite being assaulted in Par-la-Ville Park.
The attack happened around 5:30pm on Monday when the 19-year-old Warwick man was assaulted by an unknown suspect with a pointed object.
He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of a laceration to the right side of his face.
The victim has refused to co-operate with Police and no witnesses to the incident were located despite officers speaking with members of the public who were in the park around the time of the incident.
